Did you know that Real Estate Agents are not necessarily Realtors®? Do you know why you should use a Realtor®?
The titles Real Estate Agent and Realtor® are almost always used interchangeably – but they should NOT be! They are not the same! While both are licensed to sell real estate ONLY the Realtor® is bound by the Realtor® Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics is strictly enforced. Realtors® voluntarily hold themselves to higher standards.

The answer to this one is quite simple: Why work with a Realtor® or an agent with no education when there are so many that have went beyond the minimum requirements? I am a college graduate with a degree in Business Management, Administration & Economics. I am a Certified e-Pro® and am currently working on my GRI (Graduate School for Realtors®). I constantly attend workshops and classes offered in my area. What does this mean to you? A knowledgeable professional on your side.
Agency: What you need to know
Please beware of the “Transaction Broker”. Now, that is not to be confused with the “consent to transaction broker from single agent” later on down the road under certain circumstances. Here is the deal: Why would you use a Realtor® who is not bound by full fiduciary responsibility to you? You would not. MOST REALTORS do business as transaction brokers. What does this mean to you? The answer is simple: limited representation, disclosure and confidentiality. Some offices will say “we only work as transaction brokers” – These offices/agents want to take on the least amount of responsibility. Demand a Realtor® who will work for you as a single agent – whether or not you are buying or selling.
